Current News at Hicks Lake

In the fall of 2020, the SIG (Special Interest Group) which was initally put together to address the weed problem, issued an invitation to all property owners asking for volunteers to form an “oversight committee”. The purpose of the committee is to manage the SAD (Special Assessment District) and resulting programs. The committee consists of Jason Bont, Randy Hackett, Norm Klein, Mike Ritzer, Noah Stark and Jon Bentley. This group met throughout the winter and spring to work on getting the committee organized and programs set up and moving.  As a result the Weed Control Program is underway! 

Purpose

The purpose of this website is to allow residents and visitors the opportunity to understand what is going on at Hicks Lake; both for the ongoing weed control program and any other important lake information. Additionally, it is to provide the MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets) for the chemicals that will be used for weed treatment (Coming Soon).
